Remember...Our flooring analysis reports last forever. You can use the information and then pass it on to the new buyers when the property is sold. Unless the walls are moved the measurements never change!

We are an Ohio based company, currently measuring
floors in a radius of within 40 miles of Lancaster Ohio.

Hello World!...Well our big day has finally arrived. Our doors are open to the public. Just about all of the links and pages are up and working but we still have a few things to finalize in the next day or so.

The most critical job opportunities and being able to request measurements are working.

We know there HAVE to be bugs and typos etc on the site but bear with us...we will get them all worked out. If you see anything that needs fixed or have suggestions for the site please click here and let us know. Here's to a prosperous 2020!.

Do you ever wonder why this happens?

You call six carpet stores...they each come out and measure your floors...and get six totally different numbers of square feet or square yards of flooring you need to do your job.

Most people are not aware of the fact that each type of flooring material (carpeting included) has a "grain" or "direction" to it. There are arrows or markings on the back of carpeting that MUST all run the same direction if the carpeting in two areas connect onto each other in order to do a professional job.

The direction the carpet is laid out can greatly influence the amount of carpet it will take to do the job. If you have rooms that are wider than the carpeting, they must put seams in the carpet to fill those areas. Jobs can be estimated using more seams and less carpet or the other way around. Changing the direction can change the amount of flooring you need by 10% to 20%. If you want to see an example of how you can take the exact same area and get totally different results...Click here!

Shopping for and buying floor coverings used to be a frustrating experience because it's hard to compare estimates without knowing exactly how the job was figured. Most people just look at the "bottom line" price without understanding where that price came from...but not anymore!

Everything on this website is designed to educate you about the flooring buying process and the all of the variables that effect the price you end up paying for the job.

We are an unbiased third party with no financial interest in your flooring job. Everyone else who typically comes out to measure for you is going to make more money for themselves for every square foot of material you need. We don't care if you need 10 square feet or 10,000 square feet. We are there to calculate the exact amount of floor coverings you need to do the job...and not one square inch more!
Our business is measuring residential and commercial properties and calculating the amount of floor coverings needed to do the job. We use trained floor measuring specialists to prepare laser accurate scale drawings and blueprint-like material list reports for all types of residential, investment  and commercial properties. Click here to see a sample drawing and sample reports.
There are two steps in our measuring process:
Field Work We send trained floor measuring specialists to the jobsite to prepare a laser accurate scale drawing of the floor plan and place the measurements on the drawing. We also complete several detailed checklists of the condition of the property, the supplies and special tools that are required to complete the job and make notes to aid potential flooring companies in preparing accurate cost estimates to complete the job.
Report Processing The field work package is then sent to one of our processors who enters the data into a specialized computer program that prints out detailed, blue-print like reports. Once the paperwork is completed it is immediately sent directly to our clients.
Our final printed reports show exactly how many square feet and square yards of flooring you will need to do your job. It indicates where all the seams will be located (if the are any), how much trim will be needed and how much waste material there will be. We provide you with two different copies of the reports that compare the differences between changing the direction of the material so YOU can decide how you want your flooring to be installed.

To have your house measured costs $75.00 but we know you'll save more than that on your job!

If you have our written estimate in hand, you can go to ANY flooring company and get an exact estimate to do the job. You can then go to floor company number two and do the same thing. You can go then ask if they will beat the first company's estimate (if their estimate is lower). Then it's off to flooring company number three. Most flooring companies have policies that they will beat their competitions best price. So by using our flooring analysis in this manner you can be assured you are paying the lowest possible price for your flooring job. And we will ALMOST guarantee that you will save more than the $75.00 fee we charge.
